Naturopathic medical training
Dr Klein’s medical training involved a four-year, full-time program consisting of conventional medical sciences (physiology, pathology, pharmacology, etc.) and natural healing methods, such as nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathic medicine, acupuncture and lifestyle counseling.
In Ontario, Naturopathic doctors, like medical doctors are considered primary healthcare providers, which means that a naturopathic doctor is legally allowed to diagnose and treat disease. The main difference is, naturopathic doctor’s use non-pharmaceutical means (vitamins, minerals, herbs, diet, etc.) to treat my patients (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc.)
When you come to seek treatment in Dr. Klein’s office, he will carry out a complete assessment of your health (perform vitals, review your medical history, the information you provide on your comprehensive intake form, your tests to date and he may order more if needed). He then will provide you with a customized treatment plan that addresses the underlying cause of your condition.
